Rick Bombaci, Member at Large

Executive Director, Fishtrap, Inc.

Mr. Bombaci is the executive director of Fishtrap, Inc., a literary organization in Enterprise. He has lived in Wallowa County for more than thirty years where he has been a high school business teacher, the twenty-year owner of a small computer business, and the business development officer for Wallowa Resources.

Erin Bonner, Member at Large

Assistant Executive Director for Operations, ShelterCare

Ms. Bonner is the assistant executive director for operations for ShelterCare in Eugene which serves homeless families with children, adults with psychiatric disabilities, and adults with acquired brain injuries. With a background in management and finance, she has worked in the nonprofit sector for the past nineteen years. Ms. Bonner is the former chair of the United Way Agency Directors Organization and former co-chair of the Human Services Network.

Mary Bosch, Secretary

Consultant, Marketek

Ms. Bosch is principal of Marketek Consulting, and has over twenty years' experience providing organizational development and marketing services to nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies throughout Oregon.

 

Diane Coward, Member at Large

Owner, Fuel Cafe

Owner of Fuel Café, Ms. Coward has over fifteen years' experience in nonprofit finance and organizational development. Ms. Coward previously served as CEO for a national Asian and Pacific Islander health policy organization and has helped start several national nonprofits, including PolicyLink and the Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford University.

Robin Doussard, Member at Large

Editor, Oregon Business

As the editor of Oregon Business magazine, Ms. Doussard brings an extensive background in journalism and communications as well as a keen understanding of Oregon's business sector. In the public sector, she has been a teen mentor and has created several educational writing programs.

Kathi Jaworski, President

Principal, Write to Know

Ms. Jaworski has served as executive director and board chair for diverse nonprofits, including a community development corporation, community action agency, statewide trade association, multi-state capacity building organization, and regional collaboration. After 30 years in the sector, she established Write to Know nonprofit consulting in Spring 2009. She also serves on the Governor's Small Business Advisory Council and the Eugene Sustainability Commission.

Dwayne Johnson, Treasurer

President and Founder, PDXO LLC

Mr. Johnson is founder and president of the technology and services company PDXO LLC. He has over twenty-five years of management, systems, service development, and consulting experience. A passionate social entrepreneur and small business advocate, he is constantly looking for ways to bring diverse communities together.

Kevin Johnson, Member at Large

Principal, Retriever Development Counsel

Mr. Johnson is a certified planned giving specialist and the principal of Retriever Development Counsel. He has served as college vice president, director of development for a national environmental organization, acting executive director for a large children's services organization, endowment director, and planned giving officer.

Kathleen Joy, Member at Large

Executive Director, Oregon Volunteers

Ms. Joy has been the executive director of Oregon Volunteers for twelve years. She previously had a twenty-five-year career in management, disaster relief, and program development with the American Red Cross. She has also been a management consultant to Red Crescent societies in Africa and the Caribbean. Ms. Joy has also worked with Habitat for Humanity International, Rotary International, international hunger relief entities, and literacy and education organizations.

 

Paul Mortimer, Member at Large

Assistant Dean for Development, Portland State University

Mr. Mortimer is the assistant dean for development for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences at Portland State University and a former consultant with The Collins Group. Mr. Mortimer has had more than twenty years' fundraising experience in community development, youth and family services, conservation, health care, and the arts. He is a founder of a professional theater company and has been a frequent volunteer for the Oregon Arts Commission and the Oregon Cultural Trust.

Richard Nitti, Member at Large

Executive Director, Neighborhood House

Mr. Nitti has been the executive director of Neighborhood House since 1991 when he moved he moved to Portland from Chicago. He is a former board president of Children First and current board chair of the SW Community Health Center. He is currently on the board of the Hillsdale Farmers Market and is a member of the Multnomah County Poverty Advisory Committee.

Meredith Savery, Member at Large

Ms. Savery has worked in the nonprofit arena her entire career. Over a 15-year period she worked in development and administration at the Portland Art Museum, Emanuel Hospital, Loaves & Fishes, and 1000 Friends of Oregon. Subsequently, she started her own consulting firm providing services to more than 40 Portland nonprofit organizations in a variety of sectors.

Craig Smith, Member at Large

Executive Director, Rural Development Initiatives (RDI)

Mr. Smith is the executive director of Rural Development Initiatives in Eugene where he has worked since 1992. His prior experience includes starting a community resource center and a food business, and providing marketing assistance to businesses in Eastern Oregon. While at RDI, he was instrumental in the design and development of The Ford Institute Leadership Program and the Business Assistance Team program which organizes communities to support and grow local businesses.
