Carrie Hoops
Portland native Carrie Hoops brings extensive experience in nonprofit management, leadership, and development to her role as Executive Director. Previously, she was the Executive Director of Literary Arts for five years, guiding the organization in its transition from a small, Portland-based program to a respected mid-sized institution revered throughout Oregon's arts and literary community. In 2006, Hoops began a fulltime nonprofit consulting practice specializing in transformational management. She served as interim Executive Director for four regional nonprofits, including Literary Arts, Portland Farmers Market, Sitka Center for Art & Ecology and the Oregon Council for the Humanities. She also has consulted for the United Fund Advisors and was interim project manager at Oregon Ballet Theater.
