Guadalupe Guajardo

Guadalupe Guajardo, PhD, is a senior consultant with Technical Assistance for Community Services (TACS) specializing in organization development, board trainings, leadership development, and cultural competency.
Guadalupe holds a Ph.D. in Transformative Learning and Change from California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco; an MA/ABS in Organization Development from the Leadership Institute of Seattle; and an MA in Theology from Mt. Angel Seminary. Guadalupe is a member of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary of the U.S. - Ontario Province, headquartered in Oregon.
At TACS, Guadalupe provides training and consulting in a variety of areas:
- Leadership development: Designing innovative and creative expressions of leadership, moving from old models to new models-from transactional to transformational leadership.
- Organization development, including strategic planning, clarifying vision and mission, identifying the life cycle of the organization, naming the organization's culture and cultural assessment issues, and diversity and organizational development.
- Board development, including identifying types of boards, tuning up your board of directors, identifying and establishing roles and responsibilities, diversity and board development, and renewing the life of your board.
- Participatory Planning and managing through constant change-exploring alternative forms of planning to suit your organization.
- Fund Development /Financial Sustainability, making sure fundraising readiness has been conducted as well as making sure organizational alignment and systems are in place. In addition, Guadalupe helps with the creation and implementation of a fund development plan.
- Supporting and Managing Diversity, including cultural competency, unlearning racism and building multicultural alliances, eliminating "isms" and all forms of human oppression, and assessing your organization on diversity issues.
- Facilitation for board or staff retreats or any special occasion that would benefit from a highly skilled and experienced facilitator.
