Social Media: Where to Find TACS

What is Social Media?

Of the community, for the community, and by the community! Social media is the arena of easy-to-use tools that facilitate communications and interaction with peers, usually online. The term most often refers to activities that integrate technology, telecommunications and social interaction, and the construction of words, pictures, videos and audio. As people share their stories, perspectives, and experiences; shared meaning and understanding is built.

Why is TACS using Social Media?

Our mission is to serve the people that believe in the power of nonprofits to transform lives and communities. By using social media tools to encourage connections and share information, ideas, and resources, we aim to help nonprofit staff, board members, and volunteers build their capacity to serve and strengthen our communities.

Also, these tools provide a way for TACS to listen to you, and we look forward to the conversations we'll have through social media. Please stop by and say hello.
